A Team Fortress 2 map created for the art pass contest. The map came within the top 5 entries, and received an honourary mention on Valve's Team Fortress 2 blog for outstanding use of the "harvest" theme. View the blog entry.
The task was to detail an already blocked out map, as designed and created by Valve. The time deadline was set for two months. The winners would have their versions included in the official game.
The art pass contest was a great experience for me, as it allowed me to hone and practice my detailing skills on an already designed map. I did not have to worry about the layout of the map itself, and any implications on gameplay, as that was already all set in stone. The contest allowed me to explore a number different detailing techniques, along with different methods of optimisation (for example, intelligently placed area portals). Specifically, I learned a lot regarding lighting, which should be clear in the video fly-through.
You can mouse-over the screenshots to see the map in its original blocked out stage.

To install, extract to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[username]\team fortress 2\tf\maps directory and enter "map artpass_honeymustard" in console.
